When the two buildings that now comprise Sands Duncan were built in 1955 one was the funeral chapel and the other was the residence for the manager. Today, having recently been totally renovated, the Duncan location can offer many of the features and facilities available at our anchor location in Victoria.

A large chapel, full arrangement and visitation facilities, full digital sound and video capabilities, easily accessed location and adjacent parking all make the Duncan chapel very convenient for the people of the surrounding community.

In the fall of 1995 the Sands Duncan Arbor Reception Centre was opened and repeating the success of the Victoria location has become a very popular service option for families to use. Occupying the entire top floor of what was once the residence, the reception centre has room for 80 people and in good weather large sliding doors open on to an outdoor patio.
